Outdoor Lounge Ideas on a Budget
4 Budget friendly designs
With summer quickly approaching and many of us stuck at home, I find our family is spending a ton of time in our backyard. With two busy toddlers, outside is the most relaxing place to be. Sadly, we don’t have many places to sit and enjoy our outdoor space.
I began doing research to see how I could create a sweet little haven for us outside without breaking the bank. The need to be frugal right now is a big priority but I didn’t want to sacrifice design to save money. So I put together 4 different outdoor lounge ideas between $1000 -$2200. If you are looking to spruce up your outdoor space like we are, I hope these guides help you find something special in your budget!
01 Joshua Tree // $2,155
02 Santa Barbara // $1,965
03 San Diego // $1,750

Joshua Tree
Cost // $2,155
01 White Umbrella // clean and refined.
02 Speckled Moon Pillow // Awesome natural pillow with great pattern and texture.
03 Portfolio String Lights // We have these ones and they are seriously heavy duty. They’ve weathered extremely well over the last 3 years.
04 Grey Woven Chair // Set of TWO!!! Great price and super stylish.
05 IKEA HAVSTEN Sofa // Love the clean, modern look of this.
06 Radius Planters // West Elm size medium: the clean lines of these make them super timeless and would work with a lot of different styles and plants.
07 Nivos Coffee Table // Smaller coffee table but perfect for layering with #10
08 Garment Washed Pillow // West Elm: adds a nice texture to the overall soft surfaces
09 Solina Terrazzo Stool // sophisticated yet playful with a natural terrazzo texture and clean lines
10 Nivos Tall Coffee Table // Article: pairs well with the Nivos coffee table (07) and does double duty as a side table
11 Pencil Cactus // this cactus is one of our favorites. We have one in our backyard. If you have littles or animals that eat your plants, do your research on this guy. He’s beautiful but has an irritating sap.
12 Paima Umbrella Base // I searched high and low for a simple, heavy umbrella base. This style and design was far superior and had great reviews. Lastly, a round umbrella base is ideal so you can roll the umbrella when needing to adjust the shade. It’s no fun picking up a 50 lb umbrella base and having to carry it around…
13 Flat Pack Fireplace // the graphic lines of this one was an immediate fav. Not too large and is wood burning = win.
14 Randy Charcoal Outdoor Rug // simple southwest inspired rug that helps ground the lightness of the furniture pieces and accessories.
15 Radius Planter // size large: the size of this planter is amazing. Would look so good with a large cactus or even some grasses.
Santa Barbara
COST // $1,965
01 Double Scallop Umbrella // playful and sophisticated.
02 Paima Umbrella Base // I searched high and low for a simple, heavy umbrella base. This style and design was far superior and had great reviews. Lastly, a round umbrella base is ideal so you can roll the umbrella when needing to adjust the shade. It’s no fun picking up a 50 lb umbrella base and having to carry it around…
03 Tufted Pillow // this pale harbor color is so YES. It’s a subtle way to add color that still feels inviting
04 Luminar String Lights // seriously considering taking my black ones down and replacing them with these. Same heavy duty lights but in white.
05 Lynea Rocking Chair // soft lines and a natural texture. Plus its a rocking chair. LOVE

13 Round Fire Pit // super clean and simple pit with a great perforated texture.
14 Estrada Natural Rug // A great grounding rug adding warmth and a little chroma to a very neutral palette.
